RETURNS & REFUNDS

Shop with confidence. Our hassle-free return policy ensures that if you aren’t satisfied with your purchase, we’ll make it right. We personally oversee every return to maintain the high standards of our curated retail model.

1. Return Policy Overview

At Shop4it, a division of E and H Trading Pty Ltd, we stand by the quality of our curated products. This policy is designed to protect your rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA).

2. 7-Day "Cooling Off" Period

In accordance with Section 44 of the ECTA, you are entitled to cancel your purchase within 7 days of receiving the goods for a full refund (less shipping costs). To be eligible:

  • Items must be returned in their original, unopened, and undamaged packaging.
  • The product must be in a resalable condition.
  • You will be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods to us.

3. Defective or Damaged Goods

If an item arrives damaged or is defective, we will prioritize your resolution. Under the CPA, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for products that are not fit for purpose or are of poor quality.

  • Notification: Please email info@shop4it.co.za within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage.
  • Collection: We will arrange for The Courier Guy to collect the item at our expense once the return is authorized.
  • Inspection: Once the defect is verified, we will process your chosen resolution.

4. Non-Returnable Items

For health, hygiene, and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless they are defective:

  • Beauty & Personal Care products (if seals are broken or items are used).
  • Intimate apparel or jewelry intended for piercings.
  • Customized goods made to your specific requirements.
Hybrid Retail Note: Whether an item is shipped from our local inventory or a curated partner warehouse, Shop4it remains your primary point of contact and manages the entire return process to ensure our high standards are met.

5. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed via your original method of payment or Instant EFT within 7-10 business days.

6. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please email info@shop4it.co.za with your Order Number and the reason for the return. Our team will provide the necessary instructions for the courier collection.
