1. Introduction
By accessing and using shop4it.co.za, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. This website is owned and operated by E and H Trading Pty Ltd. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the site immediately.
2. Marketplace Nature
Shop 4 It acts as a multi-vendor platform. While we facilitate transactions and provide the infrastructure for secure payments via PayFast and delivery via The Courier Guy, the actual contract for sale is between the Buyer and the Vendor.
3. Use of the Site
- You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details.
- Any unauthorized use of the site or its content (images, logos, text) is strictly prohibited and protected by South African copyright law.
4. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Shop 4 It, you consent to the processing of your data in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
5. Returns and Refunds
All purchases are subject to our Returns & Refunds Policy. Customers have a 7-day window for returns as per the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
6. Vendor Conduct
All third-party sellers on this platform are bound by our Vendor Code of Conduct. Shop 4 It reserves the right to suspend or terminate any vendor account that violates these standards, engages in fraudulent activity, or fails to fulfill orders reliably.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by South African law, E and H Trading Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:
- The use or inability to use the site.
- The conduct or goods provided by third-party vendors.
- Technical failures or “ghost gaps” beyond our reasonable control.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
